Application Process
The procedures for applying to the Prince Philip Scholarship are closely tied to the application to the University of Cambridge through UCAS, as shown in the steps below.

Apply to Cambridge University via UCAS
Applications to Cambridge and all UK universities must be made through UCAS.

Submit application form and required documents
Complete the Scholarship Application Form, which must be endorsed by your School Principal, together with other necessary documents as set out in the Application Guidelines.

Applicants shortlisted and interview invitations sent
Shortlisted candidates will receive invitations for interviews in November or December.
Time of interview notifications for 2026 entry: November to December 2025

Scholarship/College interviews
The Scholarship and College interviews usually take place around December.
Interview period for 2026 entry: December 2025 to January 2026

Notification of Scholarship decision
Applicants will be notified of the Scholarship decision around March.

Means test
Scholarship candidates who have received conditional offers will be invited to undergo a means test to determine the value of the award they will receive.
Date of means test for 2026 entry: From end of March 2026
